Heat and pressure to flatten defects that do not break colour.
About
Who we are
A one-person workshop in Langley, British Columbia.
How the work is done
Freshly Pressed Comics cleans and presses comic books in Langley, British Columbia, and ships across Canada. It is a one-person workshop, so the same person handles every book.
Each book follows the same written process: assess it, clean it, treat it if needed, press it, then check it again. We note what we find, including what pressing cannot fix.
What to expect
Plain answers before we start work, an order number when you submit, and updates you can follow online. We keep to the limits listed on the services page.
Pressing and cleaning are not restoration, and we make no promise about grades or resale value.
What we offer
Three services
Press + Clean
Dry surface cleaning first, then pressing.
Press + Clean + Extra Service
Extra cleaning, additional press cycles or a spine fix, with your approval.
Prices and what we cannot do are on the services page.
